IMPROVEMENT OF THE TRANSPORT PLAN STUDY IN THE TRIPOLI CITY – LEBANON

• The purpose of this study is to find a suitable solution to the heavy congestion in Tripoli by combining two solutions at once. The first being a multiple story off road parking at Abdel Hamid Karameh Street and at El Nour Square, the second is a bus station located at Tripoli old train station. All buses will leave periodically to transport the citizens in and out of Mina, Abu Samra, Salam square, Quobbeh. A bicycle station shall also be integrated with the bus station in order to further decrease the number of cars and reduce different types of pollution towards sustainable cities and transportation.
